Manager – Finance/Manajer Keuangan
Location Based: Jakarta, Indonesia
The Position:
Preparation of the monthly financial statements of the company and ensuring compliance with the Indonesian statutory and regulatory requirements
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Closing of the monthly accounts of the company and in ensuring that financials meets all requirements of IFRS
- Preparation of trend and variance analysis between months and between actual vs budget
- Cash flow management
- Preparation of the yearly tax computation and submission and filing of the Company’s tax returns to the Indonesian Tax Authorities
- Submission of any other statutory returns (ie to government agencies, Indonesian Central Bank, statistics department etc)
- Submitting VAT returns as required by Law
- Liaising with external and internal auditors of the Group
- Assist in preparation of the Company’s budget and forecast
- Ensure effectiveness of the Group’s internal control functions and adherence to the finance policies set by the parent company
- Responsible for the Accounts Payable and Receivables
- Ensure collections of receivables are properly managed
- Bank facilities and banking arrangements
- Liaison with Bank
- Monitor and constantly improving cost savings measures for the Company
- Assist and where necessary prepare the monthly payroll
- Facilities / office premises management
- Purchasing / Procurement
- Ensure that statutory payroll deductions made is properly accounted and paid the relevant authorities in a timely manner
- Insurance and risk management custodian
- License and other annual regulatory requirement compliance
- General administrative responsibilities
Requirements for the Role:
- Diploma/ Degree preferably in Accountancy
- Minimum 4 years work experience in accounting /audit
- Computer Literate – well versed in Excel, Word and Powerpoint; experience in using Microsoft GP accounting system is an added advantage
- Ability to work in a fast moving environment and independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good command of English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Good presentation and writing skills
